Position Summary

Haul Lane Manufacturing is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Manager / Parts Coordinator to support our parts department operations. This role is central to keeping our shop running — managing the flow of parts from receiving through order fulfillment, and maintaining accurate, up-to-date inventory records. The ideal candidate is self-driven, tech-savvy, and comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position also supports online parts sales by photographing, describing, and listing parts inventory on our website and third-party platforms.
 

Work Locations

Haul Lane Manufacturing is expanding operations to a second facility. This position is based primarily at our Houston location. Candidates must have reliable transportation and be willing to commute to our Dayton facility if needed.

Key Responsibilities

Parts & Inventory Management

  • Receive, inspect, log, and organize incoming parts and materials.

  • Process, track, and fulfill customer and internal parts orders from start to completion.

  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and conduct regular cycle counts to identify discrepancies.

  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to reorder stock and resolve order issues.

  • Ensure parts are properly labeled, stored, and easily locatable.

E-Commerce & Product Listings

  • Photograph parts and products to create clean, professional product images.

  • Write accurate and clear product descriptions for parts listed on the company website.

  • Upload and manage listings; familiarity with eBay is a plus.

  • Keep online inventory listings current and accurate.

Operational Support

  • Support the sales team by providing parts availability, pricing, and lead time information.

  • Assist with shipping and receiving as needed.

  • Maintain a clean, organized parts and storage area.

  • Communicate proactively with shop staff regarding parts status and delivery timelines.
     

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree or technical training a plus.

  • Experience: 2+ years in a parts, inventory, or warehouse role — preferably in trucking, automotive, or heavy equipment.

  • Tech Skills: Proficiency with inventory management software and general computer skills. Comfortable with digital photography and basic content writing.

  • Organization: Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • License: Valid Driver's License Required.

  • Bonus: eBay or e-commerce platform experience is a plus.

Truck Driver / Equipment Operator (Multiple Roles Available)

Salary: $330 - $360+/day or up to $500 - $550/day for truck stacking (Depending on role)

 

Position Summary

Haul Lane Manufacturing is expanding, and we are looking for reliable, skilled, and motivated drivers to join our team. We are currently hiring for three distinct driver paths, ranging from regional transport to heavy equipment operation.

 

We believe in investing in our team. If you join us at an entry-level position, we will train you for higher-paying roles, teaching you the ins and outs of hauling heavy equipment, proper loading/unloading, rigging, and utilizing chains and straps safely.

Available Driver Roles

1. Driveaway Truck Driver

  • What you’ll do: Pick up and deliver commercial trucks from one location to another, primarily transporting them back to our dealership.

  • Pay Rate: Starts at $330 a day. Scales up to $350 or $360 a day with a proven track record.

  • Big Earners ($500 - $550/day): If you know how to do decking / truck stacking to move multiple trucks at once, you can earn premium daily rates.
     

2. Local Flatbed Truck Driver (Entry Level available)

  • What you’ll do: Pick up and transport steel, manufacturing parts, and various flatbed commodities.

  • Growth: Great starting point to learn the ropes of securement and step up into heavy haul roles.
     

3. Equipment Operator / Driver (Experienced)

  • What you’ll do: For drivers with more advanced field experience. Requires operating and transporting specialized machinery.

  • Pay Rate: Premium pay commensurate with your experience level.
     

Key Responsibilities & Training Opportunities

  • Safely operate commercial motor vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.

  • Learn and master securement techniques including rigging, chains, and straps for diverse cargo.

  • Safely load and unload heavy machinery and manufacturing materials.

  • Advance your skills: We provide paths to learn and operate heavy equipment, including:

    • Dump Trucks

    • Excavators

    • Dozers
       

Qualifications

  • Experience: Opportunities available for both entry-level flatbed drivers and highly experienced heavy equipment haulers.

  • Skills: Strong work ethic, spatial awareness for loading/stacking, and a safety-first mindset.

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to handle physical labor associated with flatbed securing (throwing straps, securing chains).

  • License: Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) required appropriate for the vehicle class.

Position Summary
Haul Lane Manufacturing is seeking an experienced and leadership-driven Welding Foreman to oversee day-to-day operations in our fabrication and welding department. This is a working supervisory role — the Welding Foreman is hands-on at the bench while also responsible for directing the welding team, maintaining quality standards, and keeping production on schedule. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled welder and fabricator who has the communication skills and professional presence to lead a team effectively.

Key Responsibilities
 

Leadership & Supervision
  • Lead, direct, and coordinate the daily work of the welding and fabrication team.
  • Assign tasks based on skill level, production priorities, and project requirements.
  • Provide on-the-job training and mentoring to welders at all experience levels.
  • Conduct performance feedback and communicate expectations clearly.
  • Foster a positive, productive, and safety-first work culture.
Production & Fabrication
  • Actively participate in welding and fit-up operations alongside the team.
  • Review blueprints, weld procedure specifications (WPS), and work orders to plan production.
  • Ensure efficient workflow through the department and resolve bottlenecks.
  • Coordinate with other departments (assembly, rigging) to align production scheduling.
Quality & Safety
  • Inspect completed weldments for dimensional accuracy, integrity, and conformance.
  • Establish and enforce quality standards in fit-up, tacking, and finish welding.
  • Enforce all shop safety policies and ensure consistent use of PPE.
  • Conduct regular safety observations, toolbox talks, and equipment checks.
     

Qualifications

  • Education
    High school diploma required. Welding trade program or related technical training preferred.
     

  • Experience
    5–7 years of hands-on welding experience, with 2–3 years in a lead or supervisory capacity.
     

  • Tech Skills
    Advanced proficiency in MIG (GMAW) on steel and aluminum. Ability to read blueprints and symbols.
     

  • Leadership
    Proven ability to motivate a team. Professional communication with personnel and management.
     

  • Safety
    Deep understanding of welding safety standards and OSHA general industry regulations.
     

  • License
    Valid Driver's License Required.
